SLAVUTA REVIVAL – REVIVE the DREAM
Greetings to connoisseurs of the automotive world!
Against the backdrop of all this worldwide madness, there are still people who are expecting new automotive projects and dreaming of reviving the lost automobile industry. It is precisely this public that will have to evaluate today’s hero, or rather heroine, called «SLAVUTA» – restyling of the ZAZ-1103 model in a new version.
Many people remember this ZAZ-1103 Slavuta - a budget B-class car with a liftback body, produced in Ukraine from 1999-2011. To be honest, this is still the same TAVRIA, only 5-door and with a trunk.
It was a very versatile vehicle for comfortable transportation of “live weight”, in the amount of 4 passengers, and, thanks to the presence of a 5th door with folding rear seat backs, large cargo was easily loaded into it, for example, large household appliances easily fit into the cabin. Due to its spaciousness and low cost, the machine was warmly received by customers, which was reflected in sales - about 140 thousand units.
That's all!
The end of the ZAZ-1103 story. But... Not the end of SLAVUTA!
After all, this is a brand that has become popular, and as long as the people exist, Slavuta will live on!
I present to your attention the revival of a dream - SLAVUTA REVIVAL.
Exterior
The main features from the previous model were retained, namely: the straightness of the body shape, the angularity, laconicism of the radiator grille and bumpers, the style of optics, the slope and width of the rear pillar, and the shape of the side glazing.
The car has grown considerably in size, since many Slavuta owners complained about the small size of the car, which affected comfort and handling, although this also had its advantages, for example, in an urban environment, the Slavuta driver had greater maneuverability than the owners of other cars.
Separate attention can be paid to optics. The headlights are made in the same style as the body and combine curved straightness. They are equipped with diode strips (daytime running lights), which, at the right moment, partially turn into direction indicators. The "partial conversion" rather than the entire turn lane is a reference to the 1999 optics.
The taillights are also made in the style of the original 1999. The LED component paired with chrome inserts and a square turn indicator create a stunning composition in the Rolls-Royce style. What do you want, the car should have its own highlight! :)
Interior
Once inside the car, you may immediately catch yourself thinking: “I’ve already seen this somewhere!” and you'll be right. After all, as was described above, the original Slavuta is an elongated Tavria and their dashboards were interchangeable, just as in our version this applies to the dashboard from the TAVRIA NOVA concept, only slightly changing some elements.
For greater identity, the central part of the panel has been changed, where a wide touch multimedia now flaunts, which is, in fact, a single solid curved “piece” of the panel, which is very unusual. Also, fans of the original will remember 4 keys next to the heater deflectors, the same thing was carried over to the new concept, only now these keys are built into the general structure of the deflectors.
I think you should pay special attention to the climate control unit. Remember, in the original there was a “twist” with cold/hot air sliders, so the new design also looks elegant and functional.
And the last noticeable change was the steering wheel, the central “cushion” of which has the shape of the original 1999 with chrome trim adjacent to it, which emphasizes a certain status.
Unusually? Surprising? So, the effect has been achieved!
Here one could put an end to it, but the designer did not stop and, according to the numerous wishes of car enthusiasts, diversified the body type: liftback, station wagon, cross, 4x4.
I would like to note that the “reborn” in the station wagon body began to look much more muscular and more stable, so to speak, it was doubly transformed and, most importantly, now you can certainly “stuff in the unfit” :)
The Revival Cross version – is actually a kind of SUV. A car for fans of a rhythmic lifestyle, drive and speed.
And the latest version of the 4x4 JAAL – is the off-road and rocky terrain version. After all, the name “JAAL” itself comes from the mountain goat breed (JAAL-GOAT), they are able to overcome steep mountain ledges and hilly peaks. This is no longer that modest and laconic Slavuta, but her older brother is a ferocious goat! :)
«Slavuta» – is a name that conveys an understanding of glory and respect, coupled with a legacy of rich history and culture. It was these fundamental concepts that played a key role in the creation of this creation, which you could familiarize yourself with in this article. All that's left to do is to revive the dream!
